This product is manufactured by our bakers in our workshops in Alsace.
Our historical manufacturing workshop is located in the village of Gertwiller (1300 residents), between « la route des vins » and the pre-vosgian hills. Gertwiller is today known as the gingerbread capital all around the wolrd.
Our second workshop is located in the village of Ensisheim in Alsace, at the bottom of the moutain « Le Grand Ballon des Vosges », in which special attention is paid to the making of new sliced gingerbread cakes and Bio biscuits.
Our conservation tips
Our products will keep their flavor longer if you follow these few advices.
Keep it safe from heat and humidity.
Close carefully the packing after each tasting.
Respect the indications on the packing regarding the shelf life within 3 and 9 months.

Fortwenger has been making traditional gingerbread for 200 years and is located in Gertwiller, Roppenheim, Strasbourg, Kaysersberg et Colmar.
