Easter

Easter

The origins of the Easter Bunny date back to ancient times. It may well have been in Alsace in the 15th century that a rabbit with Easter eggs was first associated with the celebration of spring.

Tradition has it that on the day before Easter, children would make a nest with moss or grass and place it in the garden or in the house in the hope that the Easter Bunny would fill it with tasty treats during the night.
